Women

Perimenopause and Menopause are a disruptive and stressful time for many women, but through hormone therapy, you can relieve your symptoms and experience an increased quality of life.

Perimenopause

Perimenopause is the period that occurs several years before menopause (2 to 8 years). Throughout perimenopause, the ovaries begin to decrease  in their production of hormones, and women often experience commonly known menopausal symptoms:

  • wild fluctuations in estrogen levels

  • irregular periods or heavy periods

  • mood swings and depression

  • hot flashes and night sweats

  • fuzzy thinking

  • headaches

  • weight gain

Menopause

Menopause is the permanent end of menstruation and fertility that typically occurs in women between the ages of 45 and 55. Menopause is a natural part of aging, but its symptoms can feel distressing! Menopause is indicated when a woman has not had a period for one year. During this time, the production of estrogen comes to a halt, and testosterone levels reach an all-time low level. The permanent lack of hormones can lead to more symptoms including:

  • sleep problems

  • increased abdominal fat

  • vaginal dryness

  • loss of sex drive

  • thinning hair and loss of skin tone

  • loss of bone calcium

No woman should have to live with these symptoms!

Hormone therapy is the safest, most effective, and long-lasting solution to experience relief from menopause. Our team will come alongside each woman to determine the proper course of action and put you on the correct path to feeling like yourself again.
